The Marietta Marlins swim team was founded by Coach Lim, developing from his neighborhood summer league team, the Holly Springs Waves, in 1993. Under his guidance, the Marlins has achieved unprecedented success in Georgia swimming by claiming the Division II state Senior, Age Group (AG) and Northern Divisional (NDiv) Championship tiles for 05-06 short course season; and Senior and AG Championships for 06 long course season. Georgia Swimming has recognized this achievement by naming Coach Lim as the 2006 Senior Coach of the Year. The Marlins has continued its team success for the 06-07 short course season by again claiming the Senior, AG, and NDiv Championship titles.
